Another International Day is in the books and once again we are amazed at all that took place on August 14th here at School to the Nations. Not only was the weather near perfect, but many returning students mentioned that this was the best International Day yet!
- 42 Countries represented by International Students
- 350+ International Students in attendance from Missouri State & Drury University
- 500+ total in attendance (students & volunteers)
These students arrived on the STN campus and immediately were welcomed by our local volunteers. They enjoyed learning about local businesses and campus organizations through various booths, devoured some delicious food donated and prepared by some amazing people, listened to some great live music, cheered for Real Encounter’s incredible bike stunts, learned dances from around the world, and finished the night with an amazing fireworks display.
As a ministry that is planted firmly in the pursuit of reaching the unreached for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we are humbled that each year the nations literally come to our front door and we have the opportunity to create friendships that we pray will lead to conversations about Christ. Our prayer before and after each event is that the relationships that begin at International Day will continue beyond one day in August. We have seen this happen so many times and hope to begin to hear stories from this year’s event as well. We hope to share these stories as they happen here on our website.
Thank you to all who were involved in making International Day happen. We are so thankful for the countless hours that many people poured into making this event a success!
